I wonder if people would be so opposed to the monetization strategy if he wasn't targeting low-income families? If he was targeting programmer parents to teach their kids, and charging them, would it be bad? I think it's safe to say most ga

In "how much I pay to eat out" money, no. (It is like...50 Chicken McNuggets tho) In "how much apps typically cost" money, yeah. It could be really useful, but in the end its still just a collection of stuff you can find somewhere else. Yo

It looks great, but its pretty cost-prohibitive. After all the problems with Coda 2, I'm hesitant to fork out money up front for something from Panic that looks fancy, but I have no idea how reliably it performs.

I can understand the utility of vim, but I've never understood the argument about being able to churn out code so much faster. Sure there are times when I'm head down hacking away like some movie, but so much of my time is spent thinking, r

It's not a website, but we created an iPad game called Kodable that teaches kids programming concepts. As an added bonus, its pretty damn cute! We target 5-7, but most young kids tend to enjoy it. We're also creating a curriculum to integra
