Agreed. Many implications. If technology is reverse-engineered in secret while government funded and then patented to a private corporation, is this not theft from the people if they try to sell it for profit? Security threats are a concern

I don't know CJK, but I enjoyed the tough example you showed me. First I looked at a hand-drawn calligraphy example of it so I could see what it is supposed to look like, then I looked at how some fonts render it on my system and it&#x

The BSD with the most support for Nvidia is the one you never tried. Arguably it's the only BSD that is best suited for a desktop user. Also has better wifi support as well. We all want to love BSD, and it does get love in proprietary

Don't waste even a second on a lawyer. Reddit is a private corporation that is a silo, you have zero rights. It is not a public common and no contract is entered into by being either a user or a mod. All rights belong to the corporatio

It is not a version of Arial! Noto sans is derived from Droid Sans and Open Sans, all by Steve Mattheson. That said, I don't use Noto and I replaced it with Tahoma. :)

In this specific case, I would assume that the finding would apply to pretty much all mammals. Unless of course, the mice organs convert it to a different chemical compound than us and it's that other one that is doing the damage.

I agree with the points made. Windows will just work as a desktop experience, and snappier to boot.. with one big caveat.. their monthly patches are very buggy and often fail installing outright for some users, and often come with bugs that
