I was an active visitor from 2006 to 2013. For years it was THE gaming/video site for me. I remember thinking back in early 2012 how GT is just throwing their success away. The site was super stagnant for years it felt like, tech-wise.

The whole concept of jurisdiction & borders is an illusion. Any entity can apply any arbitrary law anywhere, provided they can enforce it. The reality is that the US is a superpower in terms of military, economics & political force.

Automated A/B testing isn't super important. Especially for sites like reddit which have been basically the same since launch. You can still get feedback from users, and I would argue this is more important than automatically dete

I understand what you're describing and I belive that this will be possible in the distant future. I just haven't seen any evidence of this being even close to possible with todays technology. I think the primary problem is the se

Valve is spending their resources on the Source 2 engine instead [1], which is used by their games. Also working on UE4 would be a severe lack of focus and the work on Source 2 would suffer. Only working on UE4 would mean that Valve's

VAT is based on the buyer's country for digital goods/services [1], and in other cases (such as this) if the sales exceed 100 000 EUR per year. [2][3] In some countries, like Finland, the limit is even lower at 35 000 EUR per year

That price includes VAT. According to google 599 USD is 557 EUR. Add VAT to that, e.g. Finnish 24%, and you get 691 EUR. Not that far from the 699 EUR listed price.
