Reading is completely fine as this is author's intention. Using someone else's content in commercial purposes for free is absolutely not -- are you saying that we should ignore copyrights and all that since something is on the web

Thanks! That's great and sounds like they're really trying to go as far as possible with it. Here's also a great summary from Matthew Green: https://x.com/matthew_d_green/status/1800291897245835616

That's too many words with surprisingly little meaning. I'd suggest to wait for more technical details and to treat this as marketing until then.

It's already been working for quite some time: shared clipboard on iOS and macOS has supported photos and videos since more than 2 years ago. I'd expect drag-and-drop works the same way.

> you can never guess what angle interviewer is coming at you Why would you guess in that situation though? It’s an interview, there’s at least 1 person talking to you — you should talk to them, ask them questions, share your thoughts.

Might be relevant: there's also detailed and somewhat interactive byte-by-byte example of TLS for TLSv1.2[0] and TLSv1.3[1]. I absolutely love it and highly recommend checking it out if you want to learn more about TLS. [0]: https:&#x

Alternatively, it'll raise awareness. If only a few people learn to verify what exactly they're buying before paying relatively huge amounts of money — that would be a win in my book.

> In all honesty, it’s so bad that, by now, Europe is considered a meme in the international startup ecosystem Yet there are a bunch of unicorns in EU. How did they manage to do that in such a hostile meme culture?

Did Apple steal something from them other than idea? f.lux isn’t (and wasn’t?) open source and never had an iOS app in AppStore, AFAIK they had a custom Cydia repo for that.

Why should "Linux people" realize that? Looking at other comments here I feel like you’re making a lot of assumptions about this project. I’d suggest to zoom out a bit instead and find a different perspective. I see a hobby proj

I am not sure I follow. What was stopping companies from doing PWAs before? Were they not annoyed at 30% cut? Was the cost of maintaining a separate app for a single platform too small to care about?

They're still the bully. They just pretend not to be one. They just couldn't bully TikTok privately, so they're doing it publicly now.

Why would they? They aren't regulated to do that, so they won't spend their money on it. And if they did, many people would simply go to another place that won't make them jump hoops just to get some food.

I don't think calling for targeted harassment is acceptable in *any* case. That's just taking it way too far. It would be more productive to make it impersonal. E.g., by asking Chrome users to abandon it fast.

I believe it's already a thing with a lot of companies. I worked at a company that had restaurant delivery app, very similar to Uber Eats / DoorDash (but not in the US). ~10% of top spenders there got priority support.
