I'm pretty sure you can find the same radio hardware platform but FCC certified for GMRS (or so the label says anyway). Maybe they added filtering to get it to pass? That means a $35 GMRS radio with USB-C charging, swappable antennas,

With that kind of upload speed, I can see why you'd want cloud hosting. I'm paranoid enough to want a local copy so my first instinct is to still sync to home with an inotify script to trickle-push everything to S3 (quicker to sta

Sorry this isn't a helpful answer but over in Android-land, Syncthing does exactly this for me right now. I paired Syncthing with a script that pushes any new photos to a self-hosted gallery. It's as fast if not faster than Google

Instead customers buy and develop on Nvidia and then deploy on Nvidia leaving AMD with nothing at all. "Production grade" feels pretty ambiguous. It either works or it doesn't for any particular developer's use case.

Integers are far faster, smaller, and golang is strongly typed. Once you're past the serialization phase, strings have many disadvantages.

I love iota! It comes in handy everywhere. Don't serialize to raw integers unless you absolutely have to. Serialize to a string value: it's future/oopsie proof and helps with debugging. The nature of iota is pushing people aw

Yes? All the time? "Stay out of trouble" is definitely not universal among Linux users. Not too long ago, the idea would have been kind of a fairy tale.

I'm very against this trend. It's a bit like how compact cars have been slowly ruined by getting bigger and bigger. 13" is a great size for a truly portable use case.

Seems like the back buttons are a worthy tradeoff if you're looking for a Windows-based handheld. The Ally is faster and has some nifty tricks but Windows holds it back, compared to the snappy, polished feel of the Deck.
