Strange, but coming from an European background while taking in a lot of American culture, I was (pleasantly, I guess) surprised that the discrepancy between white and black males wasn't larger. I am more or less shocked about he perce

Thank you for the clarification, that makes more sense. On a side-note, I think a lot of this would be solved by ending the "war on drugs". I agree on your first point, I am indecisive on your second point (What is "mass"

Sorry if I misunderstand your point, but are you saying that the US is a police state because they wouldn't allow you to drive drunk (endangering other people) or with a gun in your car? I think it is a good thing that it hasn't h

From my point of view; if you are paying for Spotify, feel free to use any way you can to actually use the service. If you are not paying for it; don't use it. I did not understand the article as a way of enjoying the service on not su

I don't know, perhaps I'm totally wrong, but this just depresses me. I can see the point from an engineering point-of-view, this is a riddle to be solved, but why would you want to help people circumvent one of the (to me) reasona

I don't disagree with you, but isn't it reasonable to think that browsers now can play most videos without any issues?

In my experience this is not at all true. I would say that Swedes are known for their fluency in English and not knowing any Swedish, but speaking English, is not a problem in Sweden at all. I have people at my job that have lived here for

I must say that I feel bad discussing this with you, I do not enjoy trying to be objective when discussing with someone stricken by cancer like you. You have obviously been through a trauma and you are still living it. If I were religious I

I am sorry that you got cancer and had to remove those parts of your body. I am also happy that you now seem better (and I am guessing and being hopeful here). That said, I do not think it is right to try to guilt people into using things t

I switched over to http://www.protopage.com/ last week, but I don't think you can configure the fonts easily there either so may not be of interest to you. It works for me so far at least.

I don't understand. The few snarky comments that are in this thread have all been downvoted. My impression is generally (from this and other threads) that the HN audience is quite positive towards Assange and his mission. Regarding Sta

I apologize and agree that I should have written that he believes that, regardless of that I do not think it is true. If it helps I do not think he's crazy and I do see why he could think that he could be extradited.

Technically I think I am correct with that statement (or at least close). In regards to any other theories as of why the Swedish police is trying to extradite him to Sweden I have a hard time believing them. I know quite a lot of people bel
