I really like Nano, the whitepaper is pretty easy to read, they seem reasonably good and sending money is instant (sub-second). Pretty great for a currency that's meant to be used, rather than hoarded.

Possibly, but consider how often people hit others or throw things when they get mad, and now imagine the person is a 350 lbs bundle of muscles with reduced higher faculties.

Thank you, I mean "test intervals" because that's what they used to be called, but I'll change that, thanks!

I run deadmansswitch.net, and the free plan there only lets you send messages after two days, when people generally prefer much longer intervals. This serves as a time-unlimited trial that lets you try the product before upgrading, and if s

How not? It doesn't explain it anywhere. Saying "I first heard about Foobar a while back" doesn't imply anything about the reader. The fact that the author doesn't explain what they do anywhere (except for what you

So the article's opening paragraph assumes you know what Zora is, and only points to the Zora website. What's worse, the Zora website assumes you know what Zora is, and why should I waste my time with any of this? I shouldn'

I really love paying with Monero as well. Fast, super cheap and anonymous. It's definitely my favorite coin to use (since I don't like speculation). I just wish it were more widespread as a payment option.

My experience with Python has been that once you get past the initial setup (which may be tricky if you haven't figured your Python installation out yet), everything just works. As you say, if something doesn't work due to conflic

Poetry is basically perfect, it does what it says and has no surprises. Well, except one thing: If I do `poetry update <somepackage>`, it starts upgrading other packages as well. I'm not sure what that's about...

Ah, that uses PEP-582-style package directories, that's interesting! Though I don't know if we need an alternative to Poetry, I'd rather we just standardized on one tool at this point.

It was, and I know. My grandparents used to tell me about 2-meter high snows every year, and we had 1-meter high snows when I was young. Now we're lucky if it snows at all each year.
