Not the case in Ohio at least. They don't have to pay any PTO. Often, good employers will pay a portion as a good will gesture if you follow their notice procedures. (Prior employer paid half.)

My understanding is that at-will states usually override anything in a contract stating to the contrary, unless there is an agreed-upon employment duration (that overrides at-will on both sides, i.e., they can't fire you without compen

They don't do this as a matter of course, but they do look at the question that was asked various factors surrounding the interview. They certainly can and do throw out interviews that don't generate any signal.

I got the same response from an old friend who has worked for Google for the better part of a decade. FWIW my understanding is that the Hiring Committee tends to discard feedback from interviewers like your latter type here.

Personally I prefer story points per card, and then calculating the average velocity of the team per sprint vs. the number of story points left in the backlog. This presumes a deadline more than a sprint away, though, since it's a lit

Hi, I'm not an immigration attorney but I am a Canadian citizen who moved to the US to marry my wife. I would suggest looking into the K-1 visa if you are sure that you want to go this route. Don't get married in the meantime;

This is great! Congratulations. I recently lost a little less than 50 pounds doing Whole30 (for 30 days, followed by a lighter version with occasional exceptions). I liked it because I didn't really need to count calories. Yes, it t

The hardest part of Whole30[1] is avoiding food and drinks with added sugar or sweeteners, but I strongly suspect it's also the most effective part for a variety of health benefits, including losing weight. I found that after a month,

That big a percentage in two stocks would freak me out a bit. My money is in indexes, roughly 90% stocks, 10% bonds. Boring, but it's worked well so far and it's more of a long-term thing.
