Still, it seems they're putting the effort in, and it would seem to be a better solution to simply email them and ask.

I run Linux now so it's a moot point, but I survived for years without any infection or malware running Windows without an AV solution. It's all common sense really. Of course, if you have a system where it can be used by the pu

Don't get me wrong, I understand where you're coming from and at a glance it looks like you're in the right, but their lawyers probably saw an opportunity when you provided a compromise.

So you substantiated their lawsuit by agreeing with them that there could be brand confusion, by offering a compromise. Unfortunate.

Isn't that a non-poaching clause rather than a non-compete clause? Usually non-competes say something about not working FOR competitors / in the same industry for X months after termination.

Companies don't want to have to train people at all now, especially startups. So my advice to the OP would be to freelance until he can confidently call himself a senior developer.

We use it for push in production, and it has worked very well (we haven't had a single issue with it thusfar). Haven't used any other parts of it.

I recommend a good pair of in-ear monitors like the UE-900s[1] with some Comply Foam tips[2] for extra isolation. 1. http://www.ultimateears.com/en-us/900s 2. http://www.complyfoam.com/products/Tx-

We[1] have previously given a candidate a (small) work sample test to solve, and allowed them to use either their own system or one of ours to solve it. We don't watch them while they attempt the solution and we allow them full access

There is a (mostly) unfiltered feed available, just change the sort order to Most Recent. You may find that Facebook periodically (or in my case, always) changes it back though.

I would imagine that an HR department in the US would be reticent to even look at a resume that included a photo to avoid the appearance of discrimination.

I prefer LESS since its syntax is essentially a superset of CSS. I'd still be interested in hearing the arguments in favor of SASS.
