I've had FP4 since the launch. I don't use a case and have dropped it a couple times, mostly on wood, but once on tiles. The screen hasn't cracked yet and I haven't had to do any repairs on it. All in all, good HW. Since

Besides what ehnto has said, I also believe you're only partly correct about the manual process intensive jobs. What you're correct about are the jobs linked to culture and tradition. For example manga, soba noodles, bonsai trees,

Exams like this will select for people who can apply knowledge under pressure. Not a very important skill for most jobs I'd say.
