No not really. Nowadays debian has pretty fresh packages. At least Debian 12 had most of it packages newer than 22.04.

Debian release cycle is almost exactly 2 years, much like Ubuntu with some deviation. You can install Debian, on ZFS if you want. Now speaking of corporate customers, well that is not a great argument, as even more users use Red Hat, which

Ahaha, no. Every time period has its own distinct style. you can tell the difference between Magnus, Kasparov, Capablanca etc. Lots of innovation in chess in fact, almost uninfluenced by machines.

I find a lot contradicting info about what the idle consumption of AMDs is, different graphs show different numbers (so I do not trust the source you've linked, as my own 12500 machine idles at about 25w) , but overall consensus on Red

Yeah, well standard drivel from lead soldier connoseurs. The flux used for tin-bismuth or tin-germanium solders is exactly same. No point to perpetuate extraction of poisonous substances.
