Just going by the first section, I can anticipate a problem here. The last paragraph of the first section suggests that the problem of finding a Hamilton cycle is not in P because some cycles are maximal solutions without being a maximum

Note that this hasn't been updated in a while. For instance Norbert Blum's attempt from 2017 (now acknowledged as mistaken) is missing.

What about it involves thinking of elements as bits and sets as whole numbers? I'm not seeing it. Everything you just described is just a physical representation of sets and operations on sets. I don't see any step where elemen

I mean this is really about set operations; thinking of it in terms of bits and integers doesn't really add anything.

No, Haskell's Int is a machine integer; if you want a bigint, you use Integer rather than Int.

But what about other projects? Back in the day there were multiple multi-protocol clients. Pidgin (or rather Gaim back then), Trillian, and others; now there's... maybe Franz, as cosmie mentions? Simply saying "Pidgin kind of

That hardly seems like much of an explanation. Look at the old protocols Pidgin and other clients of the time (e.g. Trillian) spoke -- AOL, MSN, Yahoo... those didn't run over HTTP. More importantly, the companies did respond by ch

Is this system of "API keys" why Pidgin doesn't handle all these new IM protocols, and why there's no other good old-fashioned multi-protocol clients for them (that I'm aware of)?
