Zvi Mowshowitz is in the business of selling prediction markets? Are you sure you're not confusing him with Robin Hanson?

So, first off, this is something you can easily look up. No, it's not banned. Second off, I think banning a card for non-gameplay reasons sets a pretty bad precedent. Third off -- banning it wouldn't accomplish anything except

What, exactly, would any of this accomplish? Again: Removing the card from the DB wouldn't be changing anything, it'd just be lying about how things are. The card does, in fact, exist. Collectors trying to get a complete set of

What exactly do you expect them to do? The card was, in fact, printed; do you expect them to just remove an existing card from their database or something? They can't, like, recall it or something. What, are they going to ban it f

The comment seems to imply that the person posting it is vegetarian; I'm pretty sure it's meant to be read in the context of that implication.

Some of these are neat, but it seems to me the problem with making your building look abandoned is that passers-by might just conclude it is abandoned and not come closer to take a look.

I'm confused, they say the planet doesn't emit light of its own, but if it's that hot -- hotter than most stars, they say -- shouldn't it be giving off blackbody radiation in the visible spectrum?

Not necessarily. It could also be done by allowing people to sue makers of insecure software or hardware.

Anybody know if the line-wrapping has been fixed? In either this version or anything since <checks what I have> 52.9.1? The messed-up line-wrapping and quoting is easily my biggest problem with Thunderbird.

The formula ((p V q) -> (p V r)) -> (p V (q -> r)) isn't valid intuitionistically, though (you can get excluded middle from it by taking q=p and r=⊥), so there's no reason to want an intuitionstic proof.
