Heads up -- your blog is very difficult to read in Chrome for Windows, due to the custom @font-face. Nothing says "Built on a Mac" like jagged fonts in Windows... More info: "Using Web fonts in your design requires thorough testing on as ma

It's the reason your site's fonts look so terrible in Chrome for Windows. Nothing says built on a mac like jagged webfonts on Windows. Edit: Here's some more info on the issue, to (hopefully) be more useful: "Using Web fonts in your desig

I'm sure LinkedIn could have cut servers without switching to node. Take your first, crappy implementation and rewrite it in the same language and you'll probably still see at least 10x improvement, if not 20.

I was fooled too until I saw the horribly-positioned Disqus section. (Seriously, all it needs is a "padding" rule.) I may not be much of a Svbtle fan, but I'm also not a fan of ripping-off a brand's design just because you can.

No social media presence? Clearly you are a psychopathic recluse unfit for normal work. We only want employees who do normal things, like obsessively refreshing a particular website all day long.

Enforcing real names has pros and cons. For Facebook as a business, the pros certainly outweigh the value lost when accounts can't be mapped directly to real people. Names are a key part of that mapping. In general, I prefer an option for p

I see your point. Would I be violating Twitter's policies if automated a process whereby, when I compose a Tweet, the words I write (which are my own) appear simultaneously on something other than Twitter? Is it the round-tripping through t
