This is from a Libertarian think tank. Do you think there's a reason they limited their breakdown to top 1% instead of listing the contributions from the top 0.1%? I sure do.

I've been programming professionally for over 30 years and "app", "application", and "program" have been interchangeable for me and the people I worked with as far back as I can remember.

It would be wonderful my competitors to adopt this method. Piece-work programming, as managed by an "AI", is downright Dickensian.

Carrying over tasks to the next sprint shouldn't be a big deal, but it's frequently viewed as some sort of team failure that needs to explained to (bad) management. The more levels up in the organization that your progress is repo

Oh my goodness, I wouldn't last a day with someone who did that. That sort of casual disrespect while you're talking to someone is wholly unacceptable behavior. There's only one person you work with that's like that, rig

I love the anomaly profiler that's proposed here. I don't know that I'd ever want this system actually performing automated remediation steps, but having an agent that's both monitoring the database and getting prompted

Trump has really turned our system on its head. He's basically been campaigning since 2015 and never stopped. It's exhausting for everyone except, apparently, him.

One of the worst experiences of my career was having a terrible SAFe scrum master and their management team try to implement Kanban for my development team. It somehow wound up being even more tedious and micromanaged than SAFe. I know that

I think there's a deeper issue to identify here: this model means that you and your team are 2 or less weeks from "failure" AT ALL TIMES. There's a psychic cost associated with that that doesn't really facilitate cr

I disagree with the idea that I'm supposed to take Snowden seriously when he is in a compromised and dangerous position. It undermines his integrity, which he's obviously trading on.

That was very rude and I hope it made you feel better. I will go on with my day knowing that the careful messaging about Russia provided by Edward Snowden is in no way affected by him wanting to stay alive and outside of a Russian prison.

Quite the opposite. He's saying that OpenAI is a tool of the American surveillance state. I don't even really disagree with that. Edward Snowden saying it while under the protection of the Russian government makes me look for ulte

I totally agree that he didn't have many options. A consequence of him choosing to be under the protection of an adversary of my country is that his opinions about my country carry much less weight with me now.

Not that you intimated this, but I don't know that it's necessarily a problem with the people writing the code. What I've seen is that organizations that try to save money by offshoring are not providing adequate domain knowl
