Yeah that's what I've noticed, too. In Cambridge we have a Tesla store in the main shopping centre, which is just a Model S and a Model X on display in a small room with some people that talk about it. I don't think they actu

Yeah I work in the office next to them, same floor same building. And previously worked for Arm. And I have a friend working at Qualcomm just down the road from me, too. Quite a small little world here :)

In this SSD case, if they only certified the algorithm then all the SSDs would be fine (probably). The encryption itself is probably good and wouldn't be easily broken if you only had access to the encrypted data. It's the key gen

If you implemented the same compression algorithm over and over again, each time from scratch, the only skill you'd learn would be how to do it more efficiently. You wouldn't learn anything special, except maybe some nuances of th

OMG I miss this so much! I had a Palm Zire 72 growing up long before getting an iTouch and it was amazing to use. Writing messages took longer but felt more natural back then, these days it'd probably feel too clunky though.

I completely agree. To me, 9 formatting changes in a single sentence, e.g. in the second sentence of that GitHub repo readme, is incredibly excessive. While the comment you replied to isn't nearly as extreme, it still has a similar iss

From OP's wording, I assume "cram everyone" means that there wasn't actually a good amount of space for people to work in there and it'd be detrimental to everyone. I certainly would be rigid if I went from working

It doesn't, monitoring and configuring battery saving is relatively harmless to the majority of consumers. The point that the OP made is that there is nothing stopping them from doing more harmful tests like experimenting with web traf

If I'm honest, I like that kind of formatting for small 2-3 line, 2-3 part expressions. But I am not a big fan for it in much bigger parts (like that huge index calculation above). I always see them and think that I'd rather see a

Instead of this: (rule & (1 << i)) === 0 ? 0 : 1 You could just do: (rule >> i) & 1 Otherwise it was a good review! I'd probably also extract parts of this long line so it's not as cumbersome

Not to mention they have exact numbers to help, too. A human sees a healthbar ~1/4 full of a hero with ~1200 health and has to guess whether their ~300 damage spell will kill them. If not, are they sure they're in range for an aut
