You can't place prohibitions on selling the software or consulting services related to it. The definition of open source is here: https://opensource.org/osd

I really hate this argument because it's an insurmountable problem for new platforms. It's really not reasonable to expect that of any platform. The project isn't on Github, but you seem to have discovered it just fine. Give

Aye. However, git.sr.ht doesn't aim to be your project's home page, but rather its git repo. Its design is optimized for its usage as such. In the future, Sourcehut will have a project hub which is more suited to being the public

I've poked around some of the gioui windowing code. It should be pretty easy to add an X11 backend if you're up for the task.

go get has nothing to do with github. Why wouldn't it work? Just use it the usual way. The readme directs you to a hello world program: https://git.sr.ht/~eliasnaur/gio/tree/master/example/hello

I put the blame on both. We have a responsibility to exercise ethical discretion in our work, and we have the power to do so. If you get fired for refusing to remove the Taiwanese flag from iOS, then take to your blog, set a fire under Appl

The FCC's push here should tell you everything you need to know. They claimed that the regulations weren't their place and that they should be implemented by legislation instead of administration. Then, when that starts to happen,

Arguments like this also ignore the success of Chromebooks. The "average" person doesn't actually care about the things you listed. Some professionals might. But the average person isn't a photoshop user, and libreoffice
