Of course Docker uses much more resources on a Mac than Linux, Docker is Linux specific containers under the hood so on Mac it runs in a full VM with a Linux distro! Yes if you run docker as part of your regular workflow you probably want m

I just went through something similar with my vehicle, had a relatively new expensive AGM battery about halfway through its 3 year warranty. Would not start if left for 4-5 days which slowly crept down to 2 days. Seemed like a parasitic dra

Was really hoping M series would open up Mac gaming, but definitely a chicken and egg situation along with Apple not really doing much to help. Still hoping things get better with game port toolkit and Mac Gpu getting better every generatio

Display port is not USB, the GPU already had secondary out that basically just needed to be routed to the USB-C connector.

I am talking about the 4th gen and prior iPad Pros with A series cpus and USB3, not M series which also have built in USB3 controllers, I thought I made the A series part clear. M series being much larger and more power hungry would also ha

The iPad Pro used a separate USB controller which adds cost, space, power making it a no go on the phones. The A17 is the first A series with integrated USB3 controller.

Because they have a separate Fresco Logic FL1100SX USB 3 controller that would add cost and take space and power which is not much of an issue on an iPad but is on the phone. The A17 is the first Apple A series SoC with USB3 controller buil

I am interested to know how it deals with lint. Lightning on all my iPhones eventually gets packed with lint from being in my pocket eventually with enough to prevent the connector from going in enough to make a good contact, usually it wil

AMD definitely has a clear advantage in Starfield currently a 7900xtx is $1100 while a 4090 is $1600 and their performance is similar in the game. Its tracks like this all the way down the line, will be interesting to see if that changes wi

You need a router with multiple wan fail over support. You could build your own with PFSense or Opensense etc or buy one the supports out of the box. Best one to buy for your situation IMO is a Pepwave Balance 20x [1], they are rock solid a

Its 4w/kg averaged over 10g of mass receiving the highest absorption, so if the 10g of tissue near the phone gets 0.04 watts its 4w/kg but only 0.04 joules per second requiring 100 seconds to receive 4 joules. Cellphone don't

Its not 5W in the EU its based on 10g of mass so its at least 100 times less than that which makes it more ridiculous, mobile phones transmit at 300 milliwatts peak omnidirectionally. They are like holding a fast blinking very dim led light

Just because touching a 1000w lightbulb will burn you does not mean a milliwatt led will. Getting burns is based heat which is based on power absorption, and phones do not put out enough power give you RF burns no matter how long you hold t

Main issues with large blobs in DB is moving and or deleting them. Not sure if PG has this issue I would like to confirm, but in say SQL server if you delete a blob or try and move it to another file group you get transaction logging equal
