I have experienced the first point many many times, and no, they aren't registry hacks. I've had things get reset straight out of Windows power options among others for example.

Would you mind backing up your claim? To my knowledge, ARM is one company that licenses their designs to other companies, who are free to parameterize and modify as they please.

I love that movie, but I don't get the impression he cheated anyone from it other than the guy who wrote DOS. Even then, it's not cheating to buy someone's product that you see potential in, companies do that every day. You c

You're missing the point here, no one is comparing the two as if a country's GDP represents something equivalent to the value of a company. They're just saying something along the lines of "Wow! 3,000,000 gallons of wate

Actually, time travel is real. My name is John Titor, from the year 2036. I'm looking for an old IBM 5100, does anyone here know where I can find one? The future of the world depends on it!

But by that logic, it makes no sense to compare the cost of a new computer to the cost of rent, because they're different things. GDP is a measure in units of money, and so is stock value, so you can compare them just fine even though

I don't think it's a good idea to be calling the human brain a neural network in this context, as cnns/dnns only sort of vaguely resemble brain neurons. The differences are massive, both due to different neurotransmitters as

Yup, though one might argue that I'm always sick, because I have mild allergies to just about everything airborne. Otherwise on a completely normal day, if I sleep for 8 hours I'll feel as if I overslept, especially if it's m

Additional anecdote here, if I sleep 8 hours or more I feel horrible, the same as if I slept 12 (oversleeping) but I feel better than ever when I get 5-7.5 hours a night. I don't think there's a one size fits all, sort of like cal

I read somewhere recently that the 8 hours a night number is wrong, and it depends on your age, lifestyle, and genetics. 6 was at the lower end of what they said was fine, though unfortunately I don't remember the source or if it was r

I started using Arch sometime before you did, and had the exact same experience - Something happened between 2012 and 2014 that made Arch the most stable Linux distro I've ever used. Arguably more stable than Windows 10, depending on y

Woah woah woah, hold up there. Scientifically speaking, a vegetable is the edible part of a plant. Tomatos are vegetables and fruits scientifically. This is like arguing that a square isn't a rectangle! Okay, carry on <3
