Obviously limiting free speech is absolutely not okay. If I came across as overly combative in my last comment I'd like to apologize, that was not my intention.

Not gatekeeping, I phrased my idea badly before, and I'm sorry about that. I would like to make it clear that I feel very strongly against gatekeeping, and against censorship. More like not pushing for more acceptance. Allow a communit

Maybe I'm behind the times, but my understanding is that web browsers are a rather large chunk of malware installation vectors.

Imho, try to keep it from going mainstream. If there aren't enough viewers to make advertising profitable, then many of the problems filling the current internet would not appear in the first place.

I can't speak for the lower two questions, but Pop has gone the other direction on snaps. The default method of app installation is apt, but if that is unavailable, it will use flatpak from flathub.

It may be worth checking out Pop!_Os, it will include flatpak, but it treats it as a fallback when a deb isn't available.

I use popOS on the UX330UN, not the exact same model, but fairly similar. I haven't had very many major issues with pop, but it is the only distro that hasn't given me any.
