You may not consider it as cheating, but that's a reasonable interpretation barring pedantry and is likely what the parent comment was referring to.

Wow much of what he’s saying in that video is a lie with regards to the history of latent diffusion, creating an open source GPT3, etc. Just taking credit for a bunch of work he didn’t have much to do with.

I believe we’re having a debate currently. I disagree with his implied vague premise that women are being too difficult with regards to dating in that area. More likely, women in the area have to put up with assholes like him more often and

Quite a lot of polish and bragging about stars and tweets for an open source project. Is there hidden monetization of some sort? Perhaps VC funding?

They already had a way to set spending limits. It’s still there I believe. You mention auto recharge. How do you enable this? It would make me much happier to have credits refill as I’ve seen on other SaaS platforms.

That’s fair I suppose but it’s probably giving more credit to Musk than he deserves. The real work is all being done by researchers who are drastically more knowledgeable about all of this than he is. He’s wise to invest in these sorts of i

Sorry but surely the idea of having a brain computer interface predates the Culture novels by many decades. Similarly, how are these books the inspiration for SpaceX? Those ideas of traveling the stars (well, planets) _absolutely_ predate t

Yeah I’m aware I just didn’t know if they had something in house or leased from an HPC provider (not spot instances - although honestly that sort of thing wouldn’t surprise me from some other company like Stability).
