Mickey Mouse is massive. Mickey has been the face of Disney and is sold on and in many products each year. Kids know who he is and adults know who he is. He does seem antiquated now, especially to older adults but I don't see them gett

Someone will just fill the void left by this vendor and no harm will be removed. It wont be a net positive at all. In the end, all there will be is another person ruined. I don't think it's right to punish a pub for all problems c

For sure, I have experienced similar feelings. Good to know it's not just me. It's kind of like a derealization caused by the thought of how absurd or odd it is that we exist at all.

When I was trying to replace or return my 1 year and 2 week old Macbook Pro to Apple due to what turned out to be a faulty logic board, Apple said it was too late as their 1 year warranty had passed. But here in Australia we cannot just sig

Thanks for the info mbo, I'll look into Dexamethasone. I currently use Modafinil to help manage my excessive sleepiness and it's been really helpful. Doesn't 'fix' it, but definitely helps.

Interesting, I think there's more to this than people know, but most doctors I've spoken to don't even know about DSP let alone the seemingly obscure idea that it could be caused by EBV. It's hard, because I really think

I had a similar experience with EBV. Although I also think it caused a sleeping disorder as well (Delayed Sleep Phase). Any doctor I've mentioned this to has shrugged it off, I guess there's not much you can do even if they could

It was published in Feburary 2014. I'm not intentionally trying to sound hyperbolic. Are you? They are literally classified as invasive procedures. It is by definition unnecessary. There are going to be false-positives in these screeni

Sometimes being too cautious can cause harm too. It's not so clear cut as you might think. For instance, pushing mammograms earlier in life causes over diagnosis (around 20% in one study), leading to invasive surgeries that were not ac

While I can agree that people do tend to think that good equates to rich, I don't think being able to make money makes you somehow intellectual or great. Sure, people conflate these things in general but that doesn't make it the f

I've noticed a trend in the discussion of Covid-19 when talking to people. They tend to either under estimate it; "it's just the flu", or they over estimate it; "This is going to be really bad, time to buy all toile

The worst possible outcome as far as humans are concerned is an economical disaster which would lead to people with out money, food, or water. People die with out those, so it's likely they would be willing to fight to death for them.
