I guess you've described the 4 steps to existing as a company that makes itself known for burning the fuck out of people without recourse - you don't get to have a good reputation in the areas you want. That user just said "h

Im not sure what you'd call it when liberals listen to... Slightly biased news, and conservatives listen to people with clearly expressed political allegiances who refer to conservatives as "us", liberals as "them",

It's clear that NPR has bias in its choice of reporting, but every other political radio station has a clearly stated allegiance more than they have a simple bias. The difference is stark -"oh boy this story is here for the left

This always puts it into a bit of perspective for me. We'd had, say, 99999 generations of people precede us. For 1 generation, we've felt that a vital component of every parent-child relationship is actually the United States Air

One thing that works is putting the name of the service into part of your password for each site. So like, Abzysbej@10netflix and Abzysbej@10hulu

Well to be fair, most Roman stuff didn't survive, and plenty of non-steel-reinforced concrete things will last just as long as the Roman stuff. Often times buildings are disappointingly short lived, but I think sometimes people lament

I don't understand why people think "wine-dark" could mean "purple". Just parse it like normal. This grammatical construction means "as dark as wine"... blue green and red things can all be dark or light.

Well, Chinese is a very cool language but it's awful for keyboard input and the like. Ideally we'd use a language with an alphabet that also isn't tonal.

I've been questioning the general assumption that male-dominated things are always desirable. Maybe some things are stupid to do, and men tend to get tricked into them more often. Maybe moderately high pay is a trick to get people to d

Those things aren't zero sum. When a business gets hacked and shuts down, a bunch of people spend time sitting around trying to get a new job, and then learning that new job. If going outside is scary, police can make it not scary and

I'm in marketing and do most of my work in a proprietary CMS. 1. See if it has to integrate with any software. Find out what marketing really really needs to still have, and what they could switch out if necessary. 2. See what they do.
