If it was wildly successful, how did we end up with tons of private competitors with a large market share (FedEx, UPS, DHL, OnTrac, etc). The U.S. Is one of the only countries where the state run postal service isn't sufficient. In Swi

In fact, a $15 Casio is much more accurate than a $7000 Omega. I say this as an owner of the latter, which must be worn every second day to not run out of power (after which its time must be reset), and whose accuracy is measured in second

Why not hybrid? Have an onboard gas generator to recharge the batteries. As soon as the gas runs out, the drone has X min of battery flight time left to get back to solid ground. No need for mechanical complexity.

It's not crazy, though. I was just looking at SFO-TXL round-trips in business. 115k miles… instead of $8k. Values the miles at around 7c/mile. I made a calculator to answer the question: should I pay cash or spend miles. I set the

I think you're misunderstanding how fees & carry works. The carry is not paid out until the fund returns its investment, much later, so its $2M in your example isn't paid out until years down the line. The only way that the fi

I'm not. 2% of X * 10 years = 20% of X. The GP contribution is 5% of X. Net contribution is -15%, regardless of fund performance.

3kW is the power, 10kWh is the energy. Your 10kWh battery would discharge in 3h20min at peak power. Or, you could listen to music on your 250W sound system for 40h.
