Notably, no discussion on the article, only about the archive.ph site not working ;)

I’d assume that it’s targeted mainly at the US’ population, not any foreign adversary. It’s also relevant that this is the author explaining what they think is the rationale, not the military explaining their reasoning.

> The military’s rationale for offering us access seemed clear. The brass, apparently, wanted to help get Americans accustomed to the increasingly real prospect of conflict with a genuinely powerful opponent. They wanted to humanize the

Mägo de Oz has been active since 1989 and just released another album this year. Lèpoka is a more folky band that nevertheless sound very much MdO inspired. Still alive and kicking :)

FWIW, I posted this on a pretty active metal discord, and only one person found it interesting.

I’m not big into power metal (I prefer death, violence and satanism ;)), but let me recommend you an extremely positive power metal band that I absolutely love: Fellowship from the UK https://fellowshipmetal.bandcamp.com/alb

Not a great link for an international audience. Here in Germany, the top image is a white person: https://i.imgur.com/wqfdJ95.png

While I’m glad I can do it at all, my cable modem requires logging into their webservice, and flip a switch there to turn it from modem + router into just a modem. Still confuses me how that’s not a setting in the modem interface.

I have a very large library. My monthly spending (over the last two years) on Bandcamp is 20€, and I don't even spend that much there compared to others. I do spend a lot of time listening to music

Wow, that sounds extremely annoying. Stuff sometimes gets rearranged here sometimes as well, but it’s more like 1-2 times a year. Or even less.

FWIW, I also encounter those issues in Germany, where we have the coin deposit.

Was it general free shipping? Here in Germany, I’m used to certain € thresholds that trigger free shipping, depending on the margins and size of the business. I’ve seen 100 €, but also as low as 20€ and anything in between.

Yeah, I forgot again that you want the automation. Kagi used to be about being explicit, and not guessing what you want. That is what I want back.

That's not useful at all. I normally want those pages, but not when I'm doing a German search. Kagi is not broken in general, 95% of the time it's still fine because almost all my searches are in English, so without !de in th
