If it's the same, then some people here posted really bad videos of it ;) FWIW, my wife is tiny (160cm) and still does the reverse grip method

Used to use that as well, but the selection was too limited for me, so I first switched to chocolatey, and nowadays, winget. This way I can install almost everything I want with one command. I'll post my list tomorrow when I'm bac

That is fascinating. Just asked my wife, who's from another continent, she's as flabbergasted as me.

What other way is there? This is how I learned it from my mom and have done it ever since. Edit: I guess there's this rolling method, which seems a lot more convoluted based on the videos.

Just saw this mentioned above, might as well ask here: why? It looks to only support a small fraction of features.

Does it have feature parity? Just from the list it looks like it only supports a small fraction of what Irfan view does.

Doesn’t that completely disable them, only without the convenience of a toggle?

I wish gif’s adhered to prefers-reduced-motion and preferably only played on interaction. I use Toggle Animated Gifs [0], but it’s a global on/off switch, requires a reload, and doesn’t show a hint that something could be animated. [0]

Are there even any non-VC-backed companies with those issues? Whenever this drama and forking happens, it seems to be venture capital.

Most captcha solutions are also hard for me, but easy for computers to solve. So I really hope their use doesn’t get expanded even further…

It’s why I was a bit scared when reading the title (though the screenshot makes it look like I’ll be fine), I’ve had two open source apps make their UI/UX vastly worse recently with major updates (granted, I’m assuming some people like

Isn’t it more that Samsung, almost like apple, has great cameras? At least that’s what I often heard, I don’t go near flagship devices and root everything, so no personal experience.

Never got the DVU connection, my AoE1/2 clan had .de.vu before we got a .de, I also know several other people in my class who had one. On the other hand .tk is more something I remember in connection with spam and scam :D

With me not speaking French, I’d assume those are a bit happier with English, considering that I can talk with them ;)

de.vu was popular in Germany for subdomains, I had a few of those. Also a .tk one later.

My understanding (I watch in English, after all) is that for them, the dubbing actor is actually an important part of the character.

Fair enough, kinda works with neither group. Usually not enough compute for homelab, but care way too much about storage for selfhosted stuff.

In my experience, homelab means high powered or at least a lot of compute. People like me who have tiny, power saving devices are in the selfhosted communities. There's no definition like that, but it happens to turn out that way.

Funnily enough, I’m currently reading the 1995 Sci-fi novel "The Star Fraction", where exactly this scenario exists. On the ground, it’s Stasis, a paramilitary force that intercedes when certain forbidden technologies (including A

My experience with FFMPEG is that it’s usually not directly distributed for probably those reasons. The only times I remember getting it directly with software, was for GPL software.

We use HTML & CSS to create invoices and some eBooks, one resource I love is print-css.rocks [0] which has a comparison of tools available (for us Weasyprint [1] is good enough) and also several tutorials of how to accomplish tasks. [0]

It is. But it's also normal. Selfhosted is a big enough sub to still have some issues, but it's also small enough to still be high quality and push many assholes out.

"seemed" and "apparently". I don’t think they are hiding it from anyone but you. The author reflecting why they got this much-valued access is the actually interesting part of this.
