For me personally, it's mainly CJS imports which I can't drop. Of course the correct way would be to force the dependencies to support es. But vite has now become default for me as well for new projects.

I would have to think you did not read the entire article if you think that is the heart of the post. That's the smallest thing in it.

Damn I guess this is true about a lot of other very specific questions but are not too niche stuff as well (i.e. programming questions). An example is I was searching if a game had local multiplayer, and what would you know the result was e

I had a really hard time understanding it as well, and as someone who is supposed to at least have some understanding in this space (HTML5 gamedev) it made me feel a bit dumb. However, from what I understand, there seems to be two things ne

I would say cross platform apps, and an 'alternative to C/C++' was Java's killer app. Popularity as a backend language comes as a side effect of its general popularity (a la Node w/ Javascript, though there's s

This is one of the most obvious things that really were lost in the advent of the big social media sites. Those weird little forums that have their own communities, with the sites having their own little eccentricities. With how everything

It is a bit funny though. Our problem used to be "OMG there are so many browsers with their own little gotchas, and they don't follow the spec" Now the problem is "Oh no we're converging to a single implementation,

You can use the g! prefix and it will go to Google. I found DDG plenty good enough for my use case, and in the rare case I can't find it there I just use g! and bam.
