Obviously, anyone want's to keep making good money :) But if you successfully avoided lifestyle inflation, a drop won't hurt as much and you've probably taken some proper savings from the good years, so the benefits (like ear

Depends on your lifestyle. If you spend all that money, it will be a problem. If you enjoy a bit of luxury while it lasts and save 50%+, you'll enjoy riding the wave and won't mind the inevitable crash as much.

Yeah, it's pretty much the dumb AP setup with minimal changes. I'm still on swconfig, I wasn't aware of the switch.

I have an UniFi AP Nano flashed with OpenWRT which only acts as access point. Highly recommended, it's pretty cheap and has a solid range.

15W idle is not bad. The 20€ eBay-Cards will eat this alone. You can get better numbers with Intel cards, but those are 70€ and up. Also, Ryzen embedded is quite a bit more efficient. Now, depending on where you live, this might not matter,

Analog filters exist, too. They might not be as great as their digital equivalent in some cases, but people really want to fake #nofilter and it's basically impossible to detect.

People would simply apply filters before uploading it to Instagram. All this would do is making built-in filters worse.

In Germany it's actually discussed quite heavily whether to make helmets a legal requirement. I also don't see how you don't think of bikes driving on roads as risky. Even with a helmet, you can get very seriously injured; a

It's more like if a delivery company banned their drivers from installing seat belts and airbags. Even if you are a perfect driver, other people aren't and on a bike, your will be the one hurting after a crash.

Honestly, how? They provide the parts at a reasonable price and even provide the actual tooling they use to get something as close to OEM repair as possible. There are a lot of things faulty at Apple, but this is not one of them.

This strategy only works if most people don't expect you to lie, cheat and steal. Once the majority does it, you end up with the massive overhead of a trustless society while not gaining anything.
