Until people actually go to jail for like 30 years and until fines far exceed any profits, companies will continue to indulge in this type of behaviour. The rewards are just too good and the downsides too easy to live with.

People make mistakes. The customer support person was probably just trying to be helpful and not fully aware of all the ramifications. This is unfortunate but presumably there has been some retraining. Note: I have no direct or indirect rel

There is a rather interesting science fiction movie, called "The Thirteenth Floor", that explores this concept, in fact if I remember correctly it talks about nested simulated worlds. This makes perfect sense to me, if the theory

I am so cynical (or is that realistic?) these days, that I would not trust the encryption on WhatsApp as far as I can throw a large, adult saltwater crocodile.

Unless I am mistaken, this does not appear to have a way to easily limit upload/download rate, which would be a deal breaker for me. Happy to be proven wrong on this of course.

Looks like "Nutritional Science" has been an oxymoron for far too many decades, perhaps it should have been replaced by "Closed Minded Egotist".

Agreed. It would likely need a larger basic dictionary of allowed words and would need some ability to override the dictionary for words that just have to be in to make sense due to domain or context.

If, during the entire history of the USA, some FBI agents had never been proven to be corrupt, if judges had never been proven to be corrupt, if evidence had never been proved to be planted by authorities, then maybe, just maybe this would

A variation of this is being with people but not actually being present, i.e. texting, updating Facebook status, email, etc. etc. How often do I see a couple at a restaurant, or a group of friends at a social gathering, who are barely inter
