You can get the originating IP via mod_remoteip, or its nginx brethren. You can block those IPs in your firewall, or via the Cloudflare firewall.

In many European jurisdictions, including Austria, the losing party pays all costs of the lawsuit, including lawyers’ fees. This simple rule takes care of most frivolous suits. So the answer is: Go sue me.
