To be fair, you have group the perfect combo for initiating a crash, a google product inside firefox inside linux desktop on wayland.

What do you suggest? I'm happy with my recent switch to linux desktop but for phones there aren't many options, is android any better?

For web apps is just Javascript. And since you are forced to use it, why not run it on the server too and use less programing languages? Not a fan, but it is what it is.

For Javascript, what about that method would make it more performant than Javascript's JITs?

Those two databases rely heavily on Java libraries, libraries that would make no sense and be impractical to implement in Clojure.

Funny, those languages rely heavily on the Java ecosystem and libraries, and they better hope the Java ecosystem keeps thriving, improving current libraries and producing new libraries else they become impractical. Show me your pure Clojure

My guess is they bought the company because they were already too invested in Datomic. So it was kind of forced to minimize risk.

Same. I have try many outliners to irrationally avoid emacs but they all suck compared to org-mode.

I just run emacs on the remote server (inside tmux), emacs works great on the terminal, in fact, I don't use GUI emacs. code, orgmode, magit are just text.

Putting postgres and the app in the same server will shrink the latency and in the end it will win in throughput as your data and QPS increases.

The only reason real reasons you would want to use Clojure over Python are if you need to work/leverage the Java ecosystem (don't want to use Java/Kotlin) and you want a real multithreaded runtime (no GIL).
