Any programming language with a http client and a sqlite driver won't have problems with this example. Although, this is so simple that even sqlite might be overkill for analyzing the data.

I don't know why many praise sourcehut's design, to me it lacks clarity and everything looks like it was smashed together. A little more CSS and structure can make it go a long way.

If any of you need motivation to go and learn it! Please do it! You will never regret invest time in clojure. Agree that Clojure is a good language to learn. If you plan to use it beyond educational purposes though, expect to hit many wal

The framework is not using its own syntax, it is the syntax of Janet. It has Clojure syntax because it's written in Janet which is a Clojure inspired Lisp.

'Text Blocks' took many years and you still need pass a flag to use it, I can't imagine how much time Loom will take. Maybe move to Kotlin coroutines?

SPAs are a lot of work to get right, if you want to stay within JS, node/express/postgres and Pug/html/css(with some sprinkled JS) would be faster and simpler IMO. You can still use Firebase's auth feature from the

I don't see how can Rust be more ergonomic than Python, can you elaborate? A data scientist doing some analysis is not concerned with memory safety, why will he waste his time fighting the compiler?

If you want something fire and forget and since this is simple I would go with a serverless solution. Static files (with some little JS) hosted on some CDN and serverless database. One option is AWS dynamodb and their CDN, a more friendly b

There's one problem with surrogate keys: they are not convenient to users (too long and not meaningful). You shouldn't expose those keys to users though.

One thing I really like about ESXi the last time I used it was the built-in virtual switch, other solutions in KVM world where not up to par. Maybe it's different today.
