In my experience pinning down user requirements (and then getting feedback on your understanding of their needs, and iterating on that) is one of the most important parts of software development, not just in "web design". It'

I disagree with the equivalence between "you don't want any manager" and "you want to hide your work". I don't want to hide my work, I just think the reason most of our managers are non-managers is because the

The developer that forgets to make disable work, will also forget to write this kind of test for it. Once the behaviour is added, it'll never be randomly removed again so the test isn't needed then. It looks nice but never helped

I know how to make tests for _logic_, that's usually in Typescript functions (e. g., React hooks). But for components, that call some of those hooks and then render some JSX, I've never been able to write a test that found a bug l

It makes sense if you know your content isn't nice for humans (e.g. full of ads and tracking stuff) but you want it to rank high anyway.

What I haven't seen mentioned yet is Discord. Many simple questions can be answered in chat, and there are active Discords for many things. Personally I hate it, but it is popular.

So if you have a few grams of soil and want to know how many species of micro organisms are in there, you're setting them up with dates to see which ones will end up breeding?
