One of the best things about gaming in that era was how you essentially got multiple remixes/covers for every piece of music, depending on the hardware you ran it on. For some games, I prefer the Amiga music, for others PC/Roland,

Yes I don't think you can/should rely on TM only. It's convenient to keep running in the background but you'll still want to do manual backups to multiple places (external disks, Dropbox, Github etc)
