Yep, streaming sites use so much compression to save on costs that everything looks much worse then it should.

Well that's the first time I've seen a web page consume 80% of my GTX 1080! I don't understand this site though, there are no details or pricing, and the signup is a typeform link? Also, was I the only one that read the headl

Android also runs multiple apps at once, IIRC iOS only runs the app in the foreground.

Also going to say Pixel. They come without really any bloat, but most models are also well supported by LineageOS, GrapheneOS or others if you wanted to get more privacy.

I think that just got fixed in the newest version, but it'll take a bit for instances to update. They switched from using websockets with a constant feed of new posts, to just normal http.

I believe hot is currently bugged, I use recent comments as sorting and I find that nice.

At that point you might as well use something more modern than IRC, if you're going to wrap it in another protocol anyways.

I never really even thought about using Google domains, from the first time I heard of it I assumed it would last a few years and they would shut it down.

Also from what I've heard about Mastodon, running it is surprisingly resource intensive, for whatever reason the server doesn't seem to be very efficient. I wonder if this has the same issue.

Well it will be nice if we get back to $35 Pi's being readily available, since that's a big part of what made them interesting to use for projects.

I have the same on Mull on Android, just the homepage from clicking the link above. Annoyingly there doesn't seem to be a dev console on mobile Firefox so I can't see what the error is.

It is pretty crazy that it's still the same as always. Personally I set the windows indexer to only index the start menu, and use Everything for all my other searches since it's instant.

No frequency response testing? Mic response testing? Head pressure measurement? Kinda hard to take this seriously as a review when they don't even show anything about performance of the product.

Everyone should be wary of anything google (or really any company) makes, and ask yourself "what happens when they stop supporting this". Their phones are fine, those are easily flashed with many other ROMs. But anything locked do

It can be surprisingly hard to find much in between the super cheap stuff and the really expensive stuff! Those cheap ones work in a pinch though.
