I've not seen studies suggesting that the heat in warmer climates is warm enough to kill off germs in a way that would be relevant. I have seen studies showing the impact of cold on our immune systems. Feel free to provide sources thou

Not quite. The cold temporarily weakens our immune systems, particularly in our upper respiratory tract. Couple that with increased proximity to other people in many places when people are more likely to use public transport.

Yes, but the macroeconomic conditions aren't in any way bad right now. These companies are all still making money hand over fist, and whatever issues they're having are primarily self-inflicted.

This makes me wonder. How much have non-US tech jobs been affected by layoffs? Is this a US phenomenon or a global one or a Western one? Off the top of my head, I'm primarily aware of Embracer Group in Europe doing layoffs, but that se

It's mouthwatering how good the improvements are. I can only hope somebody at Valve has taken notice and is hurriedly pushing it through the process.

This is concerning and upsetting. The DRM doesn't just break SD support (despite being verified), it prevents the use of mods. This is a game with no PvP of any kind, where most mods are either skins or gameplay/QoL improvements.

This seems to be a common thing. We're an amalgamation of different viruses and bacteria that somehow over billions of years coalesced and evolved together into what we are now. I'm never not astounded when I think about it.

I don't know how you can look at the current discourse about anything and say that it's working. People are growing up not learning how to handle their emotions and we're seeing the consequences of that every day. The other c
