Agreed. All the credit arms of the manufacturers will be hit hard. I didn't mention this in my parent comment but you alluded to another great point. 60+ month loans can mean that those who drive more than 20k miles can use their car u

I don't think that it will be as severe. The big banks are largely insulated from this. I do think that it will be a buyers market for late model used cars for cash buyers. I'm already seeing signs of this. It's just not quit

This bubble has been building for years now. Wholesalers and other exporters have been hiding the problem for a while now, and but somethings got to give. The problem is multifaceted: 1) Lease rates arent necessarily in sync with the used c

Thanks for sharing. Those symptoms sound quite horrific. My daughter had some similar symptoms as well. She had 4 cavities when she was 3. I think she was too young at the time to articulate how she felt but I know she also had some cognit

You are right, this really is a great time(even though that sounds weird to put it that way) to have a food allergy. I think about even 10-20 years ago how hard it would be to eat gluten free at most places. Thank you for the link- travel i

My daughter has Celiac disease. It was diagnosed at age 4 when her growth chart showed she did not gain a single pound and grew ¼" from age 3-4. We did a biopsy of her small intestine and it was completely smooth. (Should be almost lik

From my outside looking in perspective, it seems the gold rush is waning in the Bay Area. There will always be a pretty healthy tech industry there but anecdotal evidence tells me that fewer people are heading west to make it big in startup

Let's take my use case into account. Home built in 1974. Currently needs about 40-50k in "greenifying" it. I just put a metal roof and radiant barrier on it. Total spend on this was 70k. My inefficient home in the Houston are

So the obvious win here besides archiving art is that this is out of copyright sample fodder* *IANAL and this may not be the case for all the material but I'm sure that there is mountains of inspiration to be mined.

All I can imagine that is happening there is panic. Defensive behavior such as this indicates either they don't really know how to fix this quickly, or they just don't care.

I deactivated/deleted my FB account in 2010. I've thought that I may try to open it back up in 2020 just as a self created "time capsule" of my life. Unfortunately my life circumstances around that time were not fantasti

One thing I've noticed. TDD takes longer. It just does. You can argue that you are racking up less technical debt in the long term but every consulting gig I've been on where TDD was the "directive" often deteriorated

I'm not sure that most car buyers in that price range actually wait. People buying a 40k car probably need it as a daily driver.

I think musk dropped the ball here. A decontented 35-40k model 3 should be available. They should also allow you to option the price up for luxury and performance like the A4/S4/RS4 or 320/328/335/m3. That should ma
