I don’t know why it is a thing. But it is. Can give you a great example. I was diagnosed in 2020. Went to a local oncologist who said (initially) I was stage 1. We caught it early. Then they do the colon resection and I wake up to the news

The maintenance was pretty easy tbh. 5FU for 15 minutes (bollus) once a week. Great point about tumor dna. It does change and the “usual” treatments become less effective. That’s when the experimental drugs are usually brought in to the tre

Small PSA: I’ve got stage 4 colon cancer- I see these sorts of articles passed to me from family members. While encouraging that these discoveries are being made it’s not necessarily something that you can take to the doctor and get started

It almost reads like a snapdragon x marketing flyer. Is this page a legitimate? Reading through the article and scanning a few benchmarks I see that it’s still behind most of today’s chips but is in “striking distance”. What does that even

This is an important point. The main reason that pro audio gear pushes bit depth and sample rate up to higher that 16/44.1 audio is because when you start doing the floating point math to mix and apply effects to audio you can end up w

I totally get what you mean here, but I don’t know if Jeopardy is a great example. I think of that like trivia which is a skill that you have to practice and exercise. Rote memorization can increase knowledge and definitely helps. (Here com

I’m curious and haven’t seen anything regarding the ip theft of ARM by (???). Didn’t the Chinese arm of the business get taken over in some way? It made the news a few years back and nothing ever came out of it.

A lot of hip hop still has unlicensed samples in it but the slices just keep getting smaller and less recognizable. And believe it or not a lot of the samples in Paul’s Boutique were licensed. I do agree with you though that (maybe until

I appreciate the response and it prompted me to think of the following questions/comments. Hopefully this comes across as curious questions and not attacks or contrarian. 1)Flying in private jets != killing an rhino. Yes a jet harms th

I’ve noticed a shift in tone of late on this site from “let’s invent the future” to “let’s shame the wealthy wasters of the world”. So let’s say that we have a private jet tax that is some scalable amount to make people stop flying private.

Legalize everything!= Everyone should be using drugs. This is just one step in what should be a public health approach to drug use/abuse. Take away the lock them up because they are weak minded degenerates approach to drug use. I don’t

Ableton live enthusiast here. I went all in on ableton after finding a push 2 second hand for cheap enough that I was willing to switch from Logic Pro. That was in 2018 and haven’t looked back. From my perspective I see this as a mixed bag.
