Of course the only way to be 100% sure would be to actually test it out by sending an actual email isn't it. This is just so obvious. I think the point of email regexes out there is not to make up for the user's silly typing mista

In some sense it's true, but what's your point? Still in those companies, a better language/framework can go a long way in conducing better code quality, even if the boss gives zero shit about it.

Well no need to be so aggressive I guess. Many of the points make some sense. But ultimately for me I get the feeling that although the managers might be happy with Go, I'd definitely not want to be such a programmer day-in day-out.

tbh I don't think workers even inside of that environment will be much pleased either. The managers are likely pleased because it speeds up the organizational efficiency, but that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with t

Didn't the guy already say it in the video? They tried various times but the system is so broken and rigged that it just won't work. The senate just outright denies any of the reform bills. It's really desperate that one will

Why is Java 8 even worse though? It supposedly introduces several mechanisms to reduce redundancy?

Is that anything very surprising though. Surely similar things have been expressed a lot elsewhere. Even the very basic normal distribution tells us something similar as well. So I don't think it really helps a lot in any way. I'd

That in a sense is of course true and you'd always be wary of such narratives and keep your own cool and detached judgements. But I don't think there's anything wrong with the "having fun" bit anyways. Surely at the

I don't think if you work like crazy 24-7 there's any "ethic" in it. I'd say it's more of some sort of morbidness. Human beings are not meant to live this way, and exemplifying such an attitude really makes a p

TBH I don't think you can easily destroy things in Vim/Emacs though. As long as you don't for some reason run it as sudo the security mechanism is quite robust.

I have no idea how the author found this code more complex. Probably he's still more used to imperative programming, but functional programming styles and one liners will mostly greatly simply the understanding of the code.

Why do you need expandable storage if you get 64/128GB. I've never even managed storage on my 64GB Nexus 6 since I got it in February, and I have tons of audiobooks with hundreds hours of length already.
