You're right to complain. Writing code whose principal job is to be compiled and executed by a computer is not at all the same as writing prose whose job is (hopefully still) to be read by a person. Up to a couple years ago, the latter

No cell phone period or no smart phone? I'm not sure how people manage the former. Do you have a home with a land line? What do you do when you travel?

Agreed. I use it basically every day. It's almost disquieting how quickly Apple inserted itself into payments, but it's frankly safer than a credit card and the NFC(?) works much better.

I'm not missing the point; you made several. The one I engaged I quoted for you. You can see from the sibling comments that several of us took issue with it. For what it's worth, I agree with your last position about just being ho

I think the truth is in fact asymmetric on this front. People, esp. many SWEs, like generating with AI, or more telling, wouldn't want to give it up in their work. On the other hand, people generally hate consuming the product of gen A

It's true. There's probably not a clean rule for when to listen and when not to. I would propose as a heuristic that for the early stage, when your product relies on true-fans, you at least consider the content of a complaint more

Yes. People who live and breathe your product should absolutely be listened to. Especially when they don't have the super-user tools you do for support (or unconsciously rounding off sharp edges).
