I have no incentive to switch from Grooveshark to Spotify since I'm grandfathered in to Grooveshark's $3.00 a month plan that has no ads and lets me stream to my phone.

Don't worry, I'm sure AT&T will filter all your iPhone traffic and count 1 iMessage as 1 SMS message regardless so there's no "confusion" for the end user trying to figure out why their SMS usage has gone down by 80%.

If you work at a place where security matters, then mounting external volumes is disabled in the group policy along with auto run, installing software, and 99% of Windows tasks that aren't directly related to your job.

Over 300 HTTP requests required to load the new techcrunch. While this is much better than the previous ~800 HTTP requests on the techcrunch homepage, it's still pretty ridiculous.

I thought about that, but wouldn't it only be destruction of evidence if YOU were the one that destroyed the evidence? Just because it was set off when the cop/FBI/whomever moved your computer doesn't mean you wanted it to happen, right?

Ah, I knew they offered pay as you go (I tried them out before) but I assumed this was a sort of "dedicated only" server type that required you to pay monthly since I didn't see the hourly rate anywhere, just "$xxx / month".

For pay by the hour services where you can scale up a ton of instances, then destroy them when you're done and only pay for time used, then yeah it's more cost effective to do it that way. However, this is about a monthly payment of nearly

Unfortunately I can't, since I wasn't the one that wrote up the PO for it. I just asked how much the equipment cost I had to install out of curiosity.
