This will probably sound frustrating, but I cannot make heads or tails about what your app actually is. I get the general idea from the website "say you did something, check in with others" but the Android app stops me in my tracks. Going f

Well there is the todo.txt format, for which the reference implementation is a bash interface[2]. [1]: https://github.com/ginatrapani/todo.txt-cli/wiki/The-Todo.tx... [2]: https://github.com/ginatrapani/todo.txt-cli

It's unusual for a geoloc service to find me (I'm in Plymouth, UK but my ISP is always listed as Newton Abbot) - but this one manages.

The similarity is quite interesting - some articles don't even move position. Do you have one that shows only green users?

What? Both the Python and PHP samples output the same thing (bar one line) - images don't show because the pages contain relative paths (which only work if you have the images stored locally). (development)ross@debian:~/hntest$ python

Just the other day I was wondering "why isn't there a flight option in Maps?", well here you go then, there soon will be.

I recently started at a small company; Google Desktop is installed on most people's machines, but people have installed it themselves, rather than IT doing so. To me, that is the definitive "I have made a user-friendly product" feeling.

It works for me, I don't like the 3-5 seconds of warm-up time before each search though. I mainly use it for quick-launching applications though and Launchy does a much better job of it.

Brilliant, was just about to start making one of these myself (this practice would be great for actually getting responses out of lecturers), thanks for sharing.

I love the idea (and simplicity of it) but isn't this basically forwarding each scheduled message to follow up service? Seems like a little too much trust involved for me.

Matt, I'd love to if I could. My issue is not from living in an unsupported country, but that Google Authenticator requires Android 2.01. However everywhere mentioned on the 2-step authentication site "Android 1.5" is blared at me. As a 1.5

I agree, the badge and comment pop-ups are useful, yes, but when I'm not logged in (which seems to be most of the time as Chrome on Linux simply cannot remember me (cookies enabled)) the "hello guest" pop-ups are just unnecessary. However t

From talking to two ex-publicans I know that: 1. Pubs are very expensive to run, and are difficult not to make a loss on. Rent goes up and up, and chain's prices go down. 2. The smoking ban in England caused a lot of pubs to be tipped over

I would use the same implementation as a password reset token - generate a hash and store it with a time-to-live - but I would probably be less lenient with the TTL (although as has been discussed, not for any real good reason).

I think this would be easier if: - You could click a font's name to set it as the fallback font for that element, - and to display the selector that font applies to (I assume you're getting this from the CSS). However, this is a very useful

While there are some features of PHP which are inherently a bad idea (register globals for example) these are, for the most part, deprecated and removed in the most up-to-date version. I agree with other views that it is the programmer's

I'm red-green colour blind but have difficulty in describing colours in general (I see them and know what they are but sometimes (and especially if they're under a coloured light) I can't specifically say what colour a wall is, for example)
