Yeah, I recently saw anti-adblock script trying to look like a browser error and I totally fell for it. Only i didn't read the message and after few F5 i just closed the tab.

It is true for checking final solution, but what in case of partial results? I am not sure about monero but with BTC I could claim I checked range assigned to me and found no solutions. I guess mining pools have solved it in some way. edit:

Oracle extended it reliance on table statistics a bit in direction of "learning" and calls it "Optimizer Adaptive Features". I am not sure about performance benefits but developers don't like when query plans change

It will be too late when they act but I can't blame them - it is all about politics. With recent pyramid scheme it was something like: 1. It is as scam, why the regulators don't do anything! 2. Regulators added company to warnings

It doesn't run 64bit code but that has nothing to do with handling 64bit numbers. Compiler just generates more instructions (and the execution is slower). Example for multiplication: https://godbolt.org/g/m1t4NC

Is that even legal? All I have found is https://www.ftc.gov/tips-advice/business-center/guidance/ftc... but it reeds like just a bunch of guidelines.

Removing driver is not the goal, at least for now. Look at ETCS operation modes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Train_Control_System#... By design it support exceptional situations where full automation is not
