How many people in the NHS could have kept their jobs last year with that £4 million do you think?

Being able to "vote" on something is not the same as owning something. >> There's a difference between a GP suggesting homoeopathy, and a GP refering a patient after the patient has requested homoeopathy. That is a fair point, but y

The NHS is for the entire country. How would a patient get Homoeopathy if a GP hadn't referred them? What part of the NHS in the UK is publicly owned? I pay my NI the same as everyone, but they never asked me as an owner what I felt about it

This isn't just a few people who "fell for homoeopathy" this is an entire countries health system, where Dr's will have prescribed homoeopathy to patients. Hence why wasted is in quotes.

I am not claiming it's the right way to think. I am pointing out realistic facts. Your assumption that these people would be free to do other more productive works is counter-intuitive, as you are assuming that people who fight Wars want to

These are a bit weak. I expected to see Dropbox (excellent) and something like RememberTheMilk... but Quaker Oats? and a sleeping App and a duvet. Just in case I forget to eat or sleep or buy an iPhone?

I was thinking on how Wars fund many technological break thoughts and more often improves the economy. Where would the internet be without War? DARPA anyone? If there were no war in the world tomorrow, millions would go out of work.

Argh... it really bugs me that the BBC have a Geek Technology reporter who has a self confessed Non-geek background, and uses his Son to help him formulate his opinions. Talk about BBC just handing out jobs to anyone!

Solution: Host doesn't know what is behind the doors either. Contestant then has a true 1/3 chance. QED I guess that defeats the game though.

I think that it is worse that most people who turn up for a Developer job are just programmers, have no design skills at all.

I didn't watch all the videos, but I didn't see anything about War. It seems to me that if you read between the lines that the next 20 years wont be like the last 20 years because there will be no War. Sadly I think we need to overcome the

My key to waking up ready to rock is to no "hack" your biorythum. If you are a start up and/or not working 9-5 for the "man" go with what your body tells you, sleep when you are tired, work when you are inspired, rest when you need a break.

I think this is a great idea. I am sure that many many start-ups begin at home, but personally I love being in the office, it removes me from any non work related distractions. As into my projects as I get, L4D2 is always there waiting for

I take this ethos in a different sense, if you didn't write it down then it "shouldn't" happen. Everything for me starts with some kind of design, and that's pen to paper, every time.
