It actually is built in as WebView2. It's like that so apps can use web views without shipping their own browser (Electron) and then it is kept up to date with the system. Internet Explorer (MSHTML) also still lives on in Windows 11 be

It actually requires translation everywhere. GPUs have their own internal API that Vulkan, OpenGL, DirectX, etc. translate into. That is what drivers do.

What would that do? Power consumption would mainly come from the GPU because these devices are for gaming.

Yes, the Nvidia GPU in the Switch 2 is more powerful. But not the ARM CPU. The existence of Nvidia DLSS (upscaling and frame generation) alone is a huge advantage over the Steam Deck, too. The Deck can't use DLSS because it's Nvid

This kind of thinking is wild to me. Apple is only enabling this behavior. It's the kids themselves who are excluding others by only using iMessage and shaming other kids for their green bubbles. Nobody wants their kids to be bullied s

Check out the Steam Linux Runtime. You can develop games to run natively on Linux in a container already. Running the anti-cheat in a VM completely defeats the point. That's actually what cheaters would prefer because they can manipula

Nothing wrong with that - some others do it too. You can even use TCC to do quick test builds and only use Clang/GCC for release builds.

How would a server-side anti-cheat work? You wouldn't be able to detect ESP or other information leaks. Best you can do is see how good they are vs. everyone else but how do you know if someone is cheating or just really good? Most che
