Wait, it's a 100M model. It's certainly very good they open sourced it, but its definitely not big considering we have 330B models. Perhaps it's big for this type of a model? I for one would love to see a lot more highly capa

This article is actually very good at explaining exactly what is it Redhat is doing and why. And I find myself in agreement with author's conclusion. I started my Linux journey with Redhat Linux 5.1 (Manhattan) I got on CD-Roms in a pa

So don't do a bloody tripple bypass with a butter knife. Just stop the bleeding. Jeez, this conversation is the best illustration of everything that's wrong with geoengineering ideas. Indeed we have practiced quite a bit. Read on

More people should upvote your post. If there is a rank of how easily humanity can destroy itself and make the earth uninhabitable for itself geoengineering is probably second only to thermonuclear war. Also I object to the use of the term

From previous answers it appears you're using standard lama-7b (quantized to 4 bits). I suppose you're doing a search on the notes than you pass what you found with the original query to lama. This technique is cool, but there are

One of the biggest things that contribute to the feeling of slowness today are all the animations /transitions etc. The very first thing I do when installing a new version of gnome is disable all of it. It suddenly feels 5x faster.

Windows 95 "theme" was very nice for the CRT monitors and their resolutions of back in the day (1024x768 etc). Running it on a modern display?... I don't get it.

You can say a lot about nVidia, but for me all their products mostly just work on Linux(I use cuda a lot). I don't understand why AMD is having such trouble doing the same. Likewise with CPUs. It is ironic I have to be using Intel'

I find it fascinating modern humans are thought to have evolved 300k years ago, but we haven't got any idea what happened before last ice age. I find it hard to believe people would just "stay in Africa" prior to last ice age

Isn't stevia non controversial? It's essentially a plant extract. Personally my problem with sweeteners is twofold. First, they are massively overused (especially in drinks). Second sugar adds more than just sweetness. It thickens
