Yes, that's kinda obvious isn't it? And yet I haven't done it in over a year since they introduced the "paper and wood". Why? Because no one sells them where I could buy it in person, and it seems extremely wasteful

Perhaps it is area dependent in UK. When I lived in the North I think access to toilets was a lot worse than down South. We went visiting to many tourist places like the east coast, Yorkshire moors, various historic places. All these trips

I second advice to focus on embedded systems, but I'd stay away from raspberry pi. I'd much prefer something you could debug easily from outside. There are plenty of arm chips one can debug with openocd and gdb. Sometimes being ab

Customisability is the biggest selling point of emacs. I tried it many years ago as a user of Visual Studio. This way way before LSPs became a thing. I decided I much prefered Visual Studio at that time. Then I transitioned to doing a lot l

I'm often amazed how old people that lived the majority of their lives under a communist regime (in my country) that exposed them to propaganda all the time can fall so easily for for various "youtube revelations". I feel if

Yes, plastic waste should be limited, but some of the worst examples is McDonald's (here in Europe) replacing plastic straws and ice cream spoons with their "paper and wood" versions. I absolutely hate the taste of paper stra

I hope popularity of large models like this one drives more work on CPU inference of quantized models. It is extremely disappointing one can't run 4 or even 8 bit quantized models on a cpu. Inference I did with fp32 on a last gen AVX2
