It would be nice if they forced a password reset for all affected users and submitted the old passwords to the Pwned Passwords list. I have trouble believing no passwords have been misused by insiders - sure, there wasn't any large-s

Seems like anyone with access to the mesh has the keys to decrypt anyone's traffic, but it's still encrypted from an outsider's point of view.

The radio link is still encrypted so an attacker won’t get much out of it. In fact, it’s a lot easier to tap a cable, DSL or fiber line (which operate without any encryption unless you put IPSec on top manually) than a mesh link which would

iPhone SE, or previous models are definitely affordable, and it seems like a good investment considering these devices are supported for 4 years on average, so on a 2 year-old second-hand device you’ll still get 2 years more of security upd

Yep, I laughed when the only response on that forum thread was “take it to the Apple Store”. I doubt anyone in there would even know how much voltage should an USB port deliver. I guess he can prove his point by asking the Apple people to p

On some MacBooks it’s common for the CPU to get charger voltage (instead of the usual 1V or so) if the CPU power transistors are damaged (often due to liquid).
