Exactly this, the CEO of a publicly traded company would have to answer to the board of directors and investors. That would add resistance to spending lots of money on something unproven. Publicly traded tech companies get much more freedom

Lodash is fairly ubiquitous, you can sneak in some lodash fp into projects. Dalton even has it aliased for ramda. The artity for certain functions might be different I didn’t check. https://github.com/lodash/lodash/

Security through obscurity isn't a good practice in general. Because few people use it, security testers probably don't spend much time on it. So it could be easier to find vulnerabilities. It's also end of support 7/11&

Brainfart said boot camp meant parallels/fusion/virtualbox. Or go to the trouble of getting Linux on it and do the reverse. It's legal to virtualized OSX on Apple hard ware.

If you want a 15in, MacBook Retina Pro w/ bootcamp. If you want a 13in, I honestly feel the Dell XPS 13 Developer edition is amazing, better than the 13in Retina Macbook Pro IMO.
