Looks very useful. I'm not aware of any open source alternative (although I could just be ignorant here!)

Disgusting. I'm not sure to what extend this kind of behavior is illegal, but it's certainly should be.

Wow, that's pretty impressive to me and I think it's awesome that you were able to put this together quickly. I admit that I don't have a CV background, so maybe this is easier for a programmer who's already experienced

It's great to see a full production level model using Mamba. But when it comes to long context window benchmarks, I'd love to see performance as well as throughput. I was under the impressions that Mamba has huge increases in thro

I can't say much about the vector app or the print design app, but the photo editor is definitely a Photoshop clone. Not that it's a bad thing! Photoshop has a great workflow, and to clone it is a smart choice that makes for good

It's a big turn off not to see any pricing info on the website. I don't want to register just to find out how much it costs.

Interesting. Affinity has a big following of people who want Adobe clones without paying a subscription fee, and Canva can certainly boost their growth to take over more of the market. On the other hand... can Affinity's "no subsc

Not yet, but I'm sure they will release some benchmarks soon. As for it not being an MoE model, there's still a ton of value in having a small non-MoE model for many usecases, and improvements that get discovered to train the smal

While the article doesn't clearly say this, my interpretation is that she was in procession of Bitcoins worth that amount at the time of her arrest, but she didn't "own" that money. That money probably belongs to others.

The article doesn't say because the filing which it's based on didn't specify the details of the dispute or reproduce the full letter that Nokia sent. We don't publicly know yet, although I'm sure that if this goes

Has anyone benchmarked Grok against other models? The LLMSYS benchmarks, which I trust most, don't have it. And their own reported results are good but nothing amazing since it doesn't seem to surpass GPT4 or Claude 3.

If this is true, it will be quite sad, since that implies that treating it (and even more importantly curing it) will be extremely difficult. I'd love to see more research in this area.

To "pivot" would merely be to change their mission to something related yet different. Their current stance seems to me to be in conflict with their original mission, so I think it's accurate to say that they betrayed it.

Their evidence does a nice job of making Musk seem duplicitous, but it doesn't really refute any of his core assertions: they still have the appearance of abandoning their core mission to focus more on profits, even if they've ela

I absolutely don't buy this defeatist attitude toward technological advancement. There are plenty of things that can ruin human civilization, and AI seems like an unlikely one to me.

Pretty good pricing at the cost of fewer POPs. A little unrelated but I'm curious if anyone here know of a cheap CDN for large files (500 GB+) where the initial connection speed doesn't matter but the throughput does.
